We stop at the Steam vents attraction and Kilauea Caldera rim lookout to view the upcoming lava lake (not always viewable). Take a walk through a lava tube and experience natureâ€™s creation.

See the blooming display of orchids and cut flowers. While there, stop in and browse through their unique gift shop. Youâ€™re sure to find that special gift for that special someone on your list! Between May-August catch a glimpse of the $20,000 orchid!

Start off with a self guided tour of the production facility. Sample the delights of macadamia nuts in multiple flavors. Get all your macadamia products at the source. Before leaving, take a stroll through the nature walk after getting macadamia nut infused ice cream at the snack bar.

We had a wonderfull guide who was willingandable to answer any question about the volcano, island, history, food or whatever. She couldn't have been a sweeter person.

KIMO ROCKS! Best tour guide EVER. Lovely person and so fully of island history and tours that even locals were asking him questions! Kimo went above and beyond to the point of allowing us to add onto our excursion. He knew so much about volcanos and kings ... oh goodness I could go on forever about this gem of a tour guide. He also made sure we stayed hydrated. Seriously- he made our vacation. I’m not lying. I’ll never forget him. Thank you our friend Kimo 🥰

Our drive around visit to Hawaii Volcanoes National Park with Malahini Tours exceeded all expectations. Driver Dan was wonderful, full of local insights, Hawaiian language tutorials, and legends. Well worth the price!! The tour included Hilo Coffee Mill where we learned about growing and roasting great Java and Mauna Loa Macadamia Corp where we sampled several flavored varieties of the nuts and learned how they are processed with minimal waste. We also stopped at Akatsuka Orchid Garden where they've developed thousands of new orchid varieties. While there, our driver Dan provided fresh-cut pineapple and lychee for lunch.

From the first time I contacted them to our drop off at the airport at the end of our tour everything was absolutely the best, also you can rest comfortably knowing your tour guide is actually from Hawaii and has the knowledge and the reverence for these sacred and beautiful places! If we are ever lucky enough to visit Hawaii again we would definitely use them again!

This tour was amazing. We were from the Norwegian Cruise ship and their tours were mega expensive so we decided to take up the offer of a free trip to the Rainbow waterfall from the tour guides on the dock. On the way back we were offered a tour up to the Volcano National park for $65 each which was half the price of the cruise ship. We don't carry cash so paid by card and James our guide was brilliant. Would highly recommend if you don't want to be ripped off by the cruise ship high prices.

Kimo, our driver/guide was great. Very knowledgeable and personable. He took us to many interesting sites, particularly the Volcano site. I believe we had a fairly unique tour of the latest fault area. Kimo's running dialogue throughout the day made this tour one of the most enjoyable that we have experienced.
