My family and I took the all day Albuquerque tour with Mae. The tour was outstanding, exceeded my expectations. Mae is an encyclopedia of information. The tour was well organized, it was customized to our needs and moved at our pace. I would highly recommend any of the Corn Maiden Tours.

This was my first visit to Albuquerque. Since the Marriott Pyramid North offered the Corn Maiden Tour as a local attraction, I was confident that it would be worthwhile. It turned out to be even more outstanding and amazing. I listed my background and interests of architecture and Native American culture, and my tour complemented all of my requests. My guide was an Archeologist with years of experience with the New Mexico culture and the region. My personal day tour went north up the El Camino Real Highway where we saw the beautiful panoramas of volcanos and wonderful mountain scenery. My guide narrated an overview of the Turf Shurn Tui Pueblo area; the Sandia Pueblo area; a tour through the Bernalillo adobe architecture; the Coronado Historic Site of the Kuaua Pueblo on the Rio Grande River; and the Santa Ana Casino area. We had an authentic New Mexican lunch at Silvia’s Saloon in Bernalillo. We walked through the Los Poblanos Ranch to see the lovely lavender fields, mix of Adobe and Greek architecture, many artifacts collected from the settling of the region, and taste the wonderful food they created on the farm. We then drove by many luxurious homes of some of the well-known families of New Mexico. We stopped at the Pueblo Harvest, near the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center where they have indigenous Dance Festivals. There I purchased authentic Native American goods and jewelry at the Shumakolowa Native Arts Shop. Then we ended the tour with a walk through the Old Town plazas, patios, architecture, and shops. My guide Mae knew many people of the communities along our route. What an extensive and excellent day of discovery!Thank you so much to Mae and Corn Maiden Tours for the opportunity to absorb all of this culture of Albuquerque in one day!Judith C. Fantastic is the first word that comes to mind about our tour with Mae Araujo. We were a party of 4. Mae planned the perfect tour to our requests and threw in some ideas we hadn't thought of. This was our second tour with Mae, she took us to Santa Fe two days earlier. Mae adjusted our start time to suit our B & B's breakfast schedule. Mae's knowledge and insight into the people and geology of the area would be hard to beat. We came home feeling that we had made new friend for life, Hope we make it back again sometime. We'll certainly be recommending friends to visit and tour with Mae.

We're a couple who take tours everywhere. We like learning things, and we like to have people tell us about new places. In Albuquerque, we hired Mae, of Corn Maiden Tours, and, man!, were we lucky! She is a wonderful, outgoing person who is attentive, discursive, informative. She was infinitely charming, extremely knowledgeable, and clearly in love with her subject. We give her our highest recommendation!

We spent an entire day with our guide Any Atkins from Corm Maiden Tours. She was very attuned to our interests and made sure we were able to see a variety of sites and make the most of this visit. She was very knowledgable about the area and able to answer any questions. I would definitely recommend booking this tour.
