  Captain Jim was a fantastic, friendly host for a wonderful 2 hour (and change) peaceful escape onto the Intracoastal Waterway around Masonboro Island and Wrightsville Beach. An expert not only in sailing, we enjoyed informative and entertaining conversation with Jim on his knowledge of, and love for, not only sailing and the area waters, but local wildlife, history, and the environmental concerns guiding (and sometimes in conflict with) the development of the area. Our intended "sunset sail" had to be rescheduled due to the weather forecast, and Jim was flexible and communicated well in finding a time that worked for our travel schedule (we were making a detour through Wilmington on the way through just to sail with Jim) as well as the other passengers and the weather. Highly recommended!

  We had a beautiful afternoon on the Shamrock with Jim. It's a great way to see the Wilmington coast and Jim is a knowledgeable, friendly guide. Highly recommended

  Captain Jim was a fabulous host, a great communicator, and very knowledgeable about sailing and the Wrightsville Beach area. We felt that our safety was his #1 priority and was very willing to assist elderly passengers get on and off the boat. He was fun, flexible, and wanted to make sure that our sail with him was a positive experience. We highly recommend his cruise tour and will definitely go out for another sail with him. It was a lot of fun and a great way to celebrate my husband's 60th birthday. Thanks for a great time!

  It was a wonderful experience to sail with Captain Jim ! He made our voyage fun and he is very knowledgeable about sailing , wildlife and the area. We would love to go back and go sailing again with you, Captain Jim!

  Captain Jim was hospitable and knowledgeable during our afternoon sail. We got lucky with the most beautiful afternoon weather and absolutely enjoyed our experience on this gorgeous sailboat. Loved his stories he shared & how comfortable he made the sail for all of us.

  Aside from the beautiful and relaxing landscape, Captain Jim is very knowledgeable on the local area and the art of sailing. My wife and I really enjoyed the adventure. We are looking forward to staying in touch and sailing again with Jim. Oh, and the anchor provides for a humbling experience as well!

  It was my first sailing Cruz but not my last. Very relaxing and the captain was very knowledgeable about the wildlife and the area. I will book again when I’m in the area. Parking was a little hectic so get there early as spaces are limited.

  Awesome excursion! Definitely worth it! Jim is very knowledgeable about the history of the intra coastal waterway, We all had a great time and will definitely be back again! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! Thanks Jim!!!
